Waratah Campus' extra-curricular programs empower students to excel beyond the classroom and showcase their talents in external competitions and events. Students' conduct during these events reflects not only upon themselves but also upon the entire school community. With this in mind, we emphasise the importance of upholding the highest standards of behaviour, sportsmanship, and respect at all times.

The following Extra-Curricular Code of Conduct Agreement outlines the expectations and responsibilities that come with representing our school in external events and competitions. Please read through the agreement with your child. By signing below you are acknowledging that your child agrees to abide by this agreement for the term of their enrolment at Callaghan College Waratah Campus.

Student Responsibilities:

To represent Callaghan College Waratah Campus, students must:

Uphold the highest standards of behaviour and respect at all times while participating in the event
Wear full school uniform or attire appropriate for the event (as advised by the supervising teacher)
Complete and submit all paperwork prior to participating in the event, including a signed permission note and a private vehicle travel form (if applicable)
Catch-up on any classwork missed while participating in the event
Abide by the rules of the activity and the core values of Callaghan College Waratah Campus (Empowering Self, Valuing Others, Agency in Learning)
Refrain from engaging in any activities or behaviours that may have a negative impact on our school community.

Please be aware that students who are currently undergoing a disciplinary process, or those with a history of repeated minor or major misbehaviors, may only participate in extra-curricular activities based on the discretion of the organising staff and the school's Senior Executive.
