This form is for new students entering the Music Program in 2025, and for existing students who wish to join an additional ensemble.

The Band Program is open to students in Year 3 to Year 6

Students can attend rehearsals as soon as they have their instrument and they have permission from the conductor.

Students in Year 2 may be able to join if they have tried out their preferred instrument and it is appropriate to start. This depends on the students height, hand span, lung capacity etc. Parents and carers of interested students should submit the form and consult the school or conductor if there are concerns. Instruments we accept are flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone/euphonium, tuba, and percussion. Starting from 2024, we will not be accepting any more guitarists or pianists to Junior or Senior Band.

The String Program is open to students in Kindergarten to Year 6

It is a requirement that prior to joining the Junior String ensemble that students must complete 10 weeks (1 term) of weekly private lessons. Beginners may commence lessons in Term 1 and then join the Junior String ensemble in Terms 2 or 3. Instruments include Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass.
