I have read and discussed the information provided in the Yarrawarrah Public School Bicycle and Scooter Policy, with my parents/carers.
I understand the information provided.
I will keep my bicycle and/or scooter well maintained with all component parts working correctly.
I will wear an approved helmet correctly when riding a bicycle or scooter to and from school.
I will give way to all pedestrians on footpaths, crossings and cycle paths.
I will walk my bicycle or scooter across the road at safe places and pedestrian/traffic crossings.
I will walk my bicycle or scooter to and from the school gate and at all times whilst on the school grounds.
I understand that I bring my bicycle or scooter to school at my own risk.
I will not lend my bicycle or scooter to another student when travelling to and from school.
I will not carry any passengers on my bicycle or scooter.
I understand that the principal may stop me from bringing my bicycle or scooter to school, or store my bicycle or scooter at school, if I do not follow the rules (e.g. riding without a helmet, riding unaccompanied).
