Sole Traders may be engaged by Parents/Carers to tutor students of Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School. As the tutoring occurs at the school, it is important that tutors understand the following;

This is a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) only.
There is no Agreement for the provision of tutoring services between Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School (Farrer) and the Tutor.
Any Agreement, Terms and Conditions and Charges Payable for the provision of tutoring services is solely between the Parent/Carer or Student and the Tutor, other than that specified within this MoU.
Farrer or its employees are not responsible for any costs incurred.
Adding a Tutor to the List of Tutors is not an endorsement by Farrer of the Tutor and their services, and tutors may not market that they are endorsed by Farrer.
The involvement of Farrer is limited to;
1. Ensuring any tutors meet the current Child Protection requirements of the Dept of Education for child-related work, including the prerequisite identification, screening and clearance requirements.
2. Ensuring they hold a current valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
3. Registering them in Passtab for signing in and out when attending Farrer
Tutors undertake to;
1. Provide Farrer with an accurate summary of their skills and qualifications.
2. Provide Farrer with the necessary Forms and Identification required for the Child Protection screening process.
3. Provide their contact details to be published on the Tutoring Services List.
4. Agree that the Tutoring Services list will be published on the Farrer website.
5. Negotiate their fee directly with the Parent/Carer.
6. Arrange payment directly with the Parent/Carer and not include Farrer in any payment arrangements.
7. Sign in and out of Farrer on Passtab whenever attending the school.
8. Advise Farrer promptly if they are no longer offering Tutoring Services so as they can be removed from the list of tutors.
9. Advise Farrer immediately to any change to their WWCC.
