This application is for current Year 6 students seeking entry into the 2027 Aspire Program, the High Performing and Gifted Education program at Wallsend Campus. The form must be completed jointly by the student and a parent or carer responsible for the student’s educational wellbeing.

YEAR 7 2027 HPGE ASPIRE PROGRAM TIMELINE

8 May 2026: Online applications close

11 May 2026: Applicants will receive an email outlining exam details and Learning Portfolio requirements. Please ensure a valid email address is provided and checked regularly.The completed portfolio is to be presented at the individual interview in July.

26 May 2026: Entrance exam held at Wallsend Campus. No supporting documents are required on the day. Students will receive their interview details at this time.

22–24 July 2026: Each applicant will attend a 15–20 minute interview and present their completed Learning Portfolio.

31 July 2026: Applicants will be notified of the outcome by email. Successful students will be required to complete an online Agreement to accept their position.

13 August 2026: Final date to accept or decline an offered placement.
