To enrol in the Creative or the Performing Arts streams at Nepean CAPA High School applicants must be successful at audition. Students may audition for as many of the CAPA areas as they would like.

Students currently in Year 5 can audition for a place in the Creative and Performing Arts Stream for 2028.

Year 7: Successful applicants in Year 7 have the opportunity to study 1 CAPA subject area

Year 8: Successful applicants in Year 8 have the opportunity to study up to 2 CAPA subject areas

Year 9 and 10: Successful applicants in Years 9 and 10 have the opportunity to study up to 3 CAPA subject areas

Year 11: Successful applicants in Year 11 have the opportunity to select as many CAPA areas of study as they are able to depending upon the elective line structure.
