Audition Video Submission

Schools are asked to present a piece that will allow the audition panel to assess students’ blend, tone, phrasing, pitch, rhythm, dynamics, harmony, diction, performance presentation, discipline and appropriate song choice. Items should be no more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds in length.

Secondary auditions (years 7-12) must be in two or more parts as appropriate to the choir.

Ensure you choose an audition song that best displays the skills of your choir – ballads are often more appropriate than up-beat pop songs. Consider using the 'Go For Broke' audition resource.

All students must be present in the video.

Ensure your video on YouTube is marked as 'unlisted'.
Please check that your video URL works before submitting it with your application. Video links that cannot be viewed by the panel cannot be considered.
