Talented Sports Program (TSP) Application

Information for Prospective Students

1. The Application Form must be completed and returned to the school.

2. The Application must be accompanied by:

a) copies of the last two school reports.

c) current clear headshot (photograph) of your child.

3. Students are usually expected to participate in Talent Identification Trials. The school will inform you where and when the trials will be conducted and invite you to the trial.

4. Students can only gain placement in ONE TSP Sport program. You may, however, nominate for placement in either 1 or 2 sports. If successful in both sports, you will be offered a place in the sport nominated as highest priority on your original TSP Application Form.

5. The Selection Panel consider:

a) Information supplied on the application (eg references, personal best times, representative level reached).

b) Practical trial and skills assessment conducted by TSP coaches and/or State Association Representatives (if this is deemed necessary).

c) Information on the complete school reports provided by the applicant.

6. Offers of placement will be made to students and parents/carers as soon as possible.

7. Placement offers are subject to DoE enrolment procedures.
