Raymond Terrace Public School Athl etics Carnival will be held on our school oval\, Wednesday \;& nbsp\;13 August 2025.  \;All students in Years 2-6 who are tu rning 8 in 2025 or older are expected to attend.

Parents are welcom e at the carnival from 9.00am and are to leave by 1.00pm. All visitors are expected to enter the school through the front gate and to use the QR cod e to sign in. Parents/Family members will be allocated a designated area a nd to use the community toilets. (No visitors are to use the student toile ts including younger siblings)

Parents/family members will be able to have recess with their children.

Dr Joel Wenitong and his team from N elson Plaza Clinic (Nelson Bay)\, will be conducting free Aboriginal and T orres Strait Island health assessments at our school on Friday 12 Septembe r. The health check generally involves: height\, weight\, ear\, eye and mo uth checks and any issues the child is comfortable talking to the GP about \, previous medical history.

The health check is important.  \;I t can help identify whether their at risk of illnesses or chronic conditio ns.  \;It's much easier to prevent these than to treat them\, so catch ing them early can make a big difference.
