The Department of Education School Swim ming and Water Safety Program is an intensive learn to swim program\, whic h develops water confidence and provides students with basic skills in wat er safety and survival. The program is conducted over 10 days. Each daily lesson is 45 minutes.

Students who have not reached a satisfactory s tandard of water safety and survival skills\, and are unable to swim 25m c onfidently unaided with correct technique in deep water\, are also eligibl e to participate in the School Swimming and Water Safety Program. The Prog ram is open to public school students in Years 1 to 6.

Students will be assessed during the School Swimming and Water Safety Program for all w ater safety skills without wearing goggles.

This program is for students in years 1 to 6 inclu sive. \;

Students will be transported daily to and from the event via bus.

    We are excited to ann ounce a new opportunity for our students in Years 3–6 to participate in the Primary Proms choir\, performing at the iconic Sydney Town Hall as par t of a combined choir with students from schools across the region.

    Students who volunteered to be part of our Pri mary Proms 3–6 Choir will perform alongside other schools\, forming one large combined choir.
