Students will need to organise their own transport t o and from the venue.
Students must meet Mis s Lennon and Miss Anderson on the grassed area outside the Pullman Hotel\, across from the Panthers Penrith Rugby Leagues Club at 6pm\, for a prompt 7pm start time. Please see attached document for detailed map of meeting spot.
At the conclusion of the performance\, please meet Miss Lennon and Miss Anderson at the grassed area outside the Pullman Hote l after the concert to pick up your child. The approximate finish time is 8:30pm. It is a requirement that children and parents stay for the whole s how.
It is preferred that students bring nothing with the m to the performance as there may be no storage for personal items during the performance. \;
Students need to be dressed for t he performance. All students will need to wear their Limelight Performing Arts Showcase t-shirt\, long black pants and black socks\, or a black skir t with plain black stockings. They will also need to wear plain\, all blac k shoes. Girls will need to have their hair tied back and off their faces\ , using black hair ties\, no big hair accessories.
Parent s are advised that all teachers have been trained in Emergency Care Proced ures and have CPR Training. All students with asthma will be required to k eep their puffers with them and should be aware of their asthma plan. All anaphylactic and diabetic students will be required to carry their medical bag on them at all times.

Each year\ , schools across Australia spend a week celebrating books and Australian a uthors and illustrators. The theme for 2025 is: Book an Adventure.
A s part of Book Week celebrations\, students are invited to participate in a &lsquo\;Book Character Parade&rsquo\;. On the day\, students are encoura ged to dress up as their favourite book character and to bring a book to s chool to read at the picnic. All students who dress up will go into a raff le for a book prize. There will be one prize drawn per class.
There will be two Book Character Parades held on the day. The first will be for Early Stage One and Stage One students. The second Book Character Parade w ill be for Stage Two and Stage Three Students. Both Parades will take plac e on the Bottom Playground.

We are excited to announce that the '\;NRMA Science and R oad Safety Program'\; is coming to Kingswood Public School on Monday 3r d November. No payment is needed and no permissio n note needed\, as it is part of the science curriculum.
Th e live performance uses science demonstrations to ensure children can unde rstand how the forces they experience whilst in motion can injure them in a crash and why safety equipment\, seatbelts and bike helmets\, are essent ial to their safety.
&bull\; They explore inertia (Newton&rsquo\;s f irst law of motion) and show how seatbelts are the only way to stop occupa nts from being ejected from a car in a crash.
&bull\; They look at f riction in terms of the traction of bicycle and car tyres on the road surf ace and how different conditions can hinder grip.
&bull\; After each experiment they explicitly teach students how to correctly fit their safe ty equipment and why correct fit is essential to their safety.

Pulse Alive i s a large-scale event\, providing high-quality opportunities in the perfor ming arts for students and teachers from NSW public schools in Greater Syd ney and beyond. Pulse Alive provides performance opportunities for student s of all abilities from Kindergarten to Year 12. We are inviting current y ears 2\, 3\, 4\, and 5 to participate.
