Competitive PSSA Cross Country Event - Age Race Events< /p>
Students wishing to participate in the Competitive PSSA Cross Country Event\, will need to complete the attached form. Competitive Age Races will be available to students who are turning \;8\, 9\, 10\ , 11\, 12\, 13 \;years \;this year (Year 2-6). Age Races will be c ompleted in the morning from 9.30am. Further information will be provided in Week 10 outlining further information on event times\, appropriate clot hing and footwear for the age races. Certificates will only be awarded to placegetters in the PSSA Cross Country competitive events. The Cross Count ry student nomination form will need to be returned by \;Frida y 28th March.
Non-Competitiv e K-6 Fun Run
All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be participating in a Non-Competitive Fun Run in the afternoo n session. \;Students will be able to walk\, run\, hop and skip with their friends while completing the course to achieve Sporting House Points for end of year awards. As this is a Fun Run\, certificates will not be a warded to individuals in this event. \;
All students who participate on the day will receive a \;fun surprise for their efforts. Further information will follow closer to the even t.
If any parents/ carers are able to assist on the day\, please complete the form\, and return to the front administra tion office by \;Friday 28th March.

The total cost of the excursion is $335.00. \;Payment is needed by Term 2 Week 9 Friday 27th June 2025. \;The school is subsidising $100.00 per stude nt. Therefore cost to parents is $235.00 per student.
W e have attached an Instalment Payment Plan to use as a guide for payments throughout the year. Instalment payments can be paid online using the ’S chool Bytes’ online payment platform. Payments can also be paid in cash. The total cost of the Stage 3 excursion to Bathurst Goldfields\, which covers accommodation\, food\, travel and site attraction to the Bathurst Goldfields in Bathurst.

We will be heading to Dubbo on Thursday morning to attend the Wambangalang E nvironmental Education Centre\, then visit Dubbo Goal and will return that evening. Our annual Learn to Swim Program will be held in weeks 4 and 5 commencing from 3rd November - 14th Novembe r. All Year 2 children will be involved in this program and be instructed by qualified swimming teachers.
The Learn to Swim Program will run f or 10 days. Students will travel to and from the pool by bus. All costs as sociated with swimming this year will be covered by the school. If your ch ild has a season ticket\, please provide the number on the permission note below.
By completing this program\, learning to swim correctly and having knowledge of water safety is a very important part of your child 9\;s education. Being able to swim could one day save your child'\;s li fe or enable them to save someone else'\;s life.
Each child will need to bring: a swimming costume\, towel\, broad brimmed hat\, sunscreen and a rash shirt. There will be a day where water safety skills are assess ed\, and all students will need to bring winter pyjamas.

Our Stage 3 overnight excursion to Canberra will be Term 3 W eek 2\, Monday 27th July to Wednesday 29th July 2026. The Stage 3 excursio n aligns with our Stage 3 HSIE outcomes.
The total cost of the excur sion is $470.00. Payment is needed by Term 2 Week 10\, Friday 26th June 20 26. The school is subsidising $100.00 per student. Therefore\, cost to par ents is $370.00.
We have attached an Instalment payment plan to use as a guide for payments throughout the year. Instalment payments can be pa id online using the '\;School Bytes'\; online payment platform. Paym ents can also be paid in cash. The total cost of the Stage 3 excursion to Canberra covers accommodation\, food\, travel and site attractions.
The Parent Portal will be closed Term 2 Week 10\, Friday 26th June 2026. P ayments after this date will not be accepted online or in cash\, unless ar rangements have been made.
Students are expected to display Strong S mart and Proud choices throughout the excursion to the Canberra. We want t o take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of maintainin g appropriate behaviour during school outings.
