Friday of week 5\, students will be competing in a rugby lea gue 9‘s gala competition run by the local NRL development officer. \ ;
On the day students will be required to wear sports un iform\, a school hat and football boots. Football Shorts\, socks\, and jer sey will be provide. Students may also choose to wear protective gear such as a head gear and shoulder pads. Students must bring plenty of liquid\, particularly water. No glass containers are permitted. \;Students sho uld bring sunscreen.
Mouthguards are compulsory.

The signature bear stands 40cm tall with movable arms and legs. The ball is 20cm round. Both come with a Bic fabric pen for signing and are of an extremely high quality. \;

Year 3 Bike Education
This year\, Years 3 s tudents are invited to attend a Bike Education Excursion at Campbelltown B icycle Education Centre\, on Tuesday 5th of November 2024\, which is Term 4\, Week 4. Bike safety is a component of our PD/H/PE syllabus which relat es to safety that is being taught during Term 4. Students will be given th e opportunity to learn about bike safety\, pedestrian safety\, and/or lear n how to ride in an enclosed road circuit environment that simulates real- life road scenarios\, with the safety of a controlled space.
The Bike Education Centre has limited availability and can only accomm odate 50 spots\, so spaces are limited. The first 50 students to reply wil l attend.

The students in t he Support Unit have been invited to “The Children’s Christmas Party ” at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on Wednesday 11th December. There is a $10 cost incurred for this event for the bus. We will travel to and from t he venue by bus and will return to school in time for transport.

Upcoming Agility Training Excursion &ndash\; Soccer Clinic

Your child has been selected to participate in a Talented Mathematicians Workshop which will be held at C ampbelltown East Public School on the 10th of September 2025. \;

Inquisitive Minds is a Sydney based educational business which focuses on creating positive mathematical experiences for students in Primary and Secondary Schools. They run a range of exciting workshops in schools\, wh ere students are taught strategic problem-solving techniques and are given the opportunity to work on a series of engaging\, original\, hands-on mat hs problems.
Inquisitive Minds have developed a Year 5 and 6 Talente d Mathematicians Workshop\, &lsquo\;Out of the Box&rsquo\;. This workshop gives students the opportunity to participate with a partner in an interac tive lesson\, where they learn and apply strategic problem-solving skills. They then work alongside like-minded students from other schools on a sel ection of original hands-on problems in a fast paced and challenging relay . Through collaboration and cooperation\, participants learn how to manage conflicts\, resolve issues\, and support their peers. These programs emphasise the importance of leadership in everyday situations\, highlight the power of working as a team\, and help individuals discover t heir strengths while taking on leadership roles.

This one-day workshop on Tuesday 24 February 2026\, is for Year 5 to Year 12 students interested in South Asian dance. Led by experienced tutors\, it combines traditional and contemporary styles to build creativ ity\, confidence\, and cultural connection. Students will explore classica l and folk dances and related cultural practices.
The wo rkshop supports diverse skill levels in an inclusive environment.

This event will take place on Monday 2 nd March\, at the Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre in Bradbury.
All students are asked to arrive at school promptly by 8:20am. Th ey will travel to the venue by private minibus and return in time for the regular 3pm dismissal.
