DESCRIPTION:Our upcoming camp at Narrabeen Sport and Recreation Centre o
ffers an outstanding outdoor learning experience\, combining fun\, challen
ge and personal growth. Through a range of engaging activities\, students
will further develop their communication\, decision-making\, problem-solvi
ng\, teamwork and resilience skills. The program strongly supports and enr
iches Stage 3 PDHPE outcomes\, providing authentic opportunities for stude
nts to build confidence and independence in a supportive environment. Acti
vities may include archery\, team-building initiatives\, kayaking\, bushwa
lking\, a damper cookout and abseiling. All Stage 3 teachers\, along with
additional staff members\, will be in attendance at the camp.
Thank
you for submitting the $100 deposit at the end of last year. The total cos
t of the camp is $430 per student\, with the remaining balance due by Frid
ay 27 April 2026. Payments can be made via your School Bytes portal\, and
families are welcome to pay in installments if preferred. The cost covers
the full camp program\, accommodation\, catering and return travel by coac
h.
Further information will be sent home towards the end of this ter
m\, closer to the departure date. Please note that Narrabeen Sports and Re
creation will require completion of an online registration form prior to c
amp. This will be provided via a unique URL and will include sections for
dietary\, health and medical information. If your child will require medic
ation during the camp please specify below in the medical condition sectio
n.
In addition\, an online parent information session will be held o
n Wednesday 1 April (Week 10) at 4.30pm to answer any questions and provid
e further clarification of details. Information regarding access to this s
ession will be provided later this term.

g North K-2 Cross Country Carnival\, which will take place on Monday 11th
May\, beginning at 11:45 am. If the weather is unfavourable\, the carnival
will be rescheduled to Monday 18th May. \;
The event will be held on the Years 3-6 playground\,
with all races conducted safely within our school grounds. Families and f
riends are warmly encouraged to attend and cheer on the students from the
grandstand.&nbs

l\, students will be required to run outside of the school grounds for par
t of the race\, along the footpath up Boundary Rd. Students will be superv

y.
Applying sunscreen is strongly encouraged.
Bring any Asthma
medication that may be required. Students should run with their puffer in
their pocket.
Age Races (in order of events) from about 9.30am:

The 800m race will
be taking place at 8am \;prior to the carnival at Epping oval. If you
r child wishes to compete in the 800m event please ensure they are dropped
at Epping Oval no later than 8am to take part in the race. \;

he Discus event will be held at the Epping Oval cage immediately after the
carnival has concluded. This means that we will be able to use the discus
cage\, and athletes will be able to use their own techniques to throw the
discuss. The event will take between 30 minutes to an hour to complete an
d we will occur in sequential order from junior girls and boys to 11 years
boys and girls and finish with the seniors. Please indicate if your child
will participate in this event and how they will be getting home at the c
onclusion of discus competition.
Please note that the high jump and
1500m events\, which will require separate permission notes\, and will tak
e place on another day.
