ed to offer our Stage 3 students the opportunity to participate in an excu
rsion to the The Great Aussie Bush Camp at Tea Garden&nbs
p\;in Term 3\, Week 3\, \;2026.
Dat
e of Camp: 3rd - 5th August \;2026
This thr
ee-day\, two night camp is the ultimate overnight outdoor recreational exc
ursion that your child will remember for years to come! They will have the
opportunity to participate in a range of fun and memorable activities tha
t promote skills in working as a team\, encouraging others\, improving the
ir own levels of focus and developing their own self-esteem. The Great Aus
sie Bush Camp continues to be an incredible excursion that every student f
rom our school in past years has thoroughly enjoyed. We can't wait to crea
te new memories with our current Stage 3 students this year! \;
This excursion will only take place if the minimum req
uirement of students\, set by external providers\, is met. This permission
and $50 deposit will allow us to gain an understanding of the number of s
tudents who will be attending.
Cost:
The estimated cost for each stud
ent to attend the camp is approximately $359.00 which inc
ludes the $50 deposit\, this cost covers transport\, activities\, accommod
ation\, and meals as detailed in the camp itinerary. The camp itinerary wi
ll be shared at a date closer to the event. Please note that the final cos
t will depend on the total number of students attending and will be confir
med once all Expression of Interest forms have been received.
Great Aussie Bush Camp Activities:
Students in Stage 3 will have the exciting opportunity to participate in
a wide range of challenging and engaging outdoor activities. Throughout t
he camp\, students will develop confidence\, teamwork and resilience as th
ey take part in experiences such as archery\, canoeing\, the crate
climb\, the dual flying fox\, the giant swing\, high ropes (aerial obstac
le course) and Powerfan\, a thrilling controlled
base jump. Students will also work collaboratively through initia
tive tasks\, navigate the Mud World water obstacle course
\, and enjoy the fun of commando spot lighting i
n the evening. The camp will conclude with the much-loved County F
air\, where students run and participate in a variety of entertai
ning stalls and activities. These experiences provide a fantastic opportun
ity for students to challenge themselves\, build friendships and create la
sting memories.
What's Next:
After providing permission for your child to attend and submit
ting the $50 non-refundable deposit\, your child will be officially enroll
ed in the Stage 3 Great Aussie Bush Camp. You wi
ll receive further details in Term 2\, including information on what to pa
ck\, departure and arrival times\, meal options\, medical &\; dietary f
orms\, a detailed itinerary \;and more.
To assist us in planning\, please complete the permission no
te and pay the non-refundable deposit of $50 by Friday\, 27th March 2026 t
o confirm your child's attendance.

Rugby League to take part in the League Stars Stage 1 Tag Gala Day\, part
of a series of events running across the Hunter region.
This introductory gala day is all play and no contact. Students will play
league tag\, a fun\, high-energy version of rugby league where players rem
ove a tag from their opponent&rsquo\;s belt instead of tackling. The day i
s designed for students of all abilities and focuses on practising fundame
ntal movement skills such as running\, catching\, passing and dodging\, wh
ile enjoying time being active with their friends.
Boys
and girls will play together in mixed teams\, which may include students f
rom both Year 1 and Year 2. Each team will have no more than 12 players so
